Reba McEntire to go in Hall of Fame
The Country Music Hall of Fame has announced who will join its ranks in 2011. The big news is that singer Reba McEntire will finally be inducted. Given her vast influence on the country-pop sound of the 1980s, not to mention the millions of records she sold in that decade, the honor is long overdue.

Also gaining membership to the Hall of Fame are songwriter Bobby Braddock, who penned the George Jones classic "'He Stopped Loving Her Today," and longtime Grand Ole Opry performer Jean Shepard.
The ceremony will take place later this year. In the meantime, it might be wise to brush up on the Essential Reba McEntire albums.
